Our Fall 2011 Pops Series "The Tao of Music"
In the past, we have looked at the reaction of our "Brain on Music". This year we are moving to our hearts and the music that has taken up residency there.  There are pieces of music that immediately create a heart-felt reaction from our soul. We hear that opening chord and think - "yes, I love that song!"  Music has the ability to help us define what we are feeling and to heal whatever needs healing.  We continue with our POPS Music series, utilizing music's ability to help us define what we are feeling and to heal what needs to be healed.Join us this fall as we use pop music to explore the "Tao of Music"  inspired by the book by John M. Ortiz, Ph. D.

The Tao of Music
From the Psalms of the Old Testament to Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up", humanity has reverted to music to mask our fears and celebrate our joys; to bolster our courage & express our feelings.  What is the Tao of your personal music spectrum?
